MENGGALI MINAT ANAK-ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DASAR TERHADAP BUDAYA SUNDA MELALUI PERMAINAN ALAT MUSIK ANGKLUNG DI DESA PASIR JAYA, KECAMATAN CIGOMBONG, KABUPATEN BOGOR, JAWA BARAT

Pasir Jaya Village, as one of the villages in Sundanese land, has Sundanese cultural roots. But over time, Sundanese culture was getting eroded. Whereas Sundanese culture is a culture that highly respects courtesy and is very good for the development of children in Pasir Jaya Village. Elementary school age children have very limited abilities in learning and understanding Sundanese culture well. Therefore, giving the love of Sundanese art to elementary school age children can accelerate these children to understand Sundanese culture. Various kinds of Sundanese art, have levels of mastery. One that is very easy to learn and has a deep meaning is Angklung Music. So that teaching angklung music to elementary school age children is expected to increase the ability to use angklung musical instruments and basic music knowledge. In turn, the sound of Sundanese music will add to the love of Sundanese culture. This service activity plan includes pre-survey to identify problems, introduction to basic music theory and angklung music, accompaniment and training of angklung musical instruments with Sundanese songs and socialization to PKK mothers about the importance of Sundanese culture, especially angklung music for school-age children. Basic. It is hoped that this community service activity can foster interest in elementary school age children in Sundanese culture in order to preserve the culture of the area, and can be published in community service journals so that they can provide information to other academics to play a role.
